Gateway Trails is a private, gated, wooded campsite set on 14 peaceful acres in Holt, Florida. Centrally located in the heart of Northwest Florida, our property offers convenient access to the Emerald Coast beaches and Blackwater River State Forest—making it an ideal base for both work and adventure.
Our campground features three full-hookup RV sites, RV and car/van boondocking, a primitive tent site, and a deluxe East to West Alta camper with a king-size bed available for rent. Guests enjoy a quiet, nature-immersed setting surrounded by a ½-mile wooded walking trail, perfect for morning strolls or winding down after a day of exploring.
Whether you’re here to unplug, explore Northwest Florida, or need a comfortable home base while working in the area, Gateway Trails offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to everything around you.
Nestled 200 yards from Blackwater River State forest, Gateway Trails offers a spread out country setting to enjoy the outdoors for the night, weekend, week, or month. The camp hosts live on the front corner of 14 acres. Though we are a peaceful setting, there are neighbors beyond the fence and you may hear donkeys braying, roosters crowing, or dogs sounding off to deer moving around in the woods. We are not long term residential but will accommodate multi-month stays for snowbirds, contract workers, transitional situations, etc. ~5+ month limit on stays.
Choose from a range of camping options, including:
Boondocking sites = $10/night
Primitive Tent sites = $12-14/night
Tent/Car/Van site w/ water & electric = $18/night
RV sites =$30/night, $200/wk, $800/monthly
*RV FHU rates are for no more than 2 adults and children 17 and under. Additional fees apply to additional guests. No more than 4 adults per RV for stays longer than a week.
